Following consultation with our pupils, parents and carers, governors, and staff, Christ the King Catholic Academy revised its Mission Statement during the 2025-26 academic year.
Stakeholders were invited to reflect on what our school motto, “Believe and Achieve”, means to them. Their ideas helped to shape our Mission Statement and inspired the creation of the CTK acronym, which expresses how we live out our motto for Christ the King.
CTK Mission Statement
For Christ the King, we Believe and Achieve by…
C – Caring for Each Other
We show respect, kindness and compassion to everyone, especially those in need.
We love one another as Jesus loved us
We follow the Catholic social teaching principles.

T – Trying Our Best
We use our God-given gifts and talents with courage, resilience and perseverance.
We develop virtue and knowledge.
We believe that every member of our school community is blessed with a special mission.
K – Knowing and Loving God
We grow in faith and strengthen our friendship with Jesus.
We become holy through prayer, scripture and the sacraments.
We are guided by the new commandment given to us by Jesus – “Love one another as I have loved you.”
John 13:34
